Strength – May 2024 Word of The Month

Dear Lovely Reader,

This month the word is:

Strength

You may be thinking:

-I am strong already do you know what I’ve been through/going through?

-I am tired of hearing people talk about strength, I just want ease and comfort.

-I am only human, so I don’t always need to be strong.

The above questions and many more are not a surprise. I’ve thought and said these things. Its true we are only human, there is only so much a person can take.

Jesus invites us to lay our burdens at His feet and take on His yoke because it is light.

Jesus understands our human nature and weaknesses, but He also tells us we will need strength to love God.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your strength – Mark 12:30

Isn’t it interesting that you need strength to love God. Something that can seem so gentle and sweet to do requires strength.

Strength is firmness, solid stamina, durability, willpower.

Without strength there is limited quality or no life. Without strength there is weakness. Without strength you can give up/in easily. Without strength there is no power. Without strength there is no growth.

WE NEED STRENGTH. PHYSICAL, INNER, MENTAL AND CHARACTER STRENGTH IS NECESSARY IN THIS LIFE.

Even to maintain peace in your mind requires strength as you need to be equipped with the word to silence the enemy and respond with, ‘It is written [Find the scripture that applies to your situation]…..’.

I pray this month God will give us an increase in strength.

An increase in strength to pray without ceasing, to cast away doubt, to praise to breakthrough, to dream higher, to believe for the impossible, to grow in character, to take care of our temples, to grow in confidence, to cultivate emotional intelligence,

to build reciprocal relationships, to maintain staying power in education, to be excellent in work and to multiply the resources we have.

To do all of this and more, we need physical and inner strength to be the foundation to gain strength in other areas. Thank God we don’t have to rely on our own capabilities and might.

We can get and build strength (willpower) from the one who created us and knows our names and frames.

I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfil His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]

– Philippians 4:13 (Amplified version)

Now that you’ve read this scripture, say it aloud!

Join me in a challenge to declare this very scripture with confidence every morning for the month of May

I am praying that as you face each day with strength from Jesus, He will glorify Himself in any trial you are facing. God will liberate, empower, settle and vindicate you as you acknowledge your self-sufficiency is solely dependent in Christ’s sufficiency.

Thank you for reading! I appreciate it! Don’t forget to share, someone close to you could really need this message right now! You are a share away from being a blessing to somebody!

Peace and every good blessing be yours in Jesus Name. Amen.
