Dear Lovely Reader,
MAY this month be full of goodness for you in all areas of your life! I’m especially hoping this season we will see our hopes fulfilled! Hope is one of the main foundations to living life alongside faith and love. We can’t touch hope, but we feel it inside of us.
Something I’ve learnt overtime is that hope is deeper than a feeling, it’s a confident knowing/expectation of a positive outcome. It is important to feel hopeful, but the reality is that we won’t every day. We all from time to time have bad days or we find ourselves in a rut and hope is the farthest thing from our minds.
Hope is eternal and is the underlying current to life.
Hope is what keeps us going.
Hope is so positive that it can actually be birthed from difficulty – “tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, HOPE” – Romans 5:4.
The character we have is a daily mental & moral mindset which is strengthened in good and bad times. From season-to-season our character is refined to display goodness, integrity and an upright heart in a wicked world. All of which glorifies God’s presence in us – the Holy Spirit.
Only through the Holy Spirit can we truly hope:
“Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” – Romans 15:13.
Joy and peace – two priceless jewels to have in our lives today are the fruit of a hope filled life. They provide the effortless perseverance to the confidence you have in that positive outcome. Hoping can be difficult and it causes us to wait which is something a lot of us struggle with. However, we can abound in hope whilst waiting for the desire to come by:
JOY – choose (as much as you can) to find joy within yourself and your daily life. Joy is greater than happiness and is an attitude of your heart in the comfort and finality of God’s word. The Joy of the Lord is our strength!
PEACE – is a fruit of the spirit just like joy and is found in your mind choosing not to sway to the anxieties that surround us. Peace is allowing our mind to be renewed and fixed on God’s word!
FOCUS FORWARD– are you basing your hopes on the past or the amazing unlimited potential of your future? Remember Jeremiah 29:11 – God has plans for your life to give you a future and a hope! God wants us to continually live in peace and joy leading up to and in the manifestation of our desires!
So, I encourage you today to get hoping because the HOPE you have today will not disappoint!
