June 2021 Word of The Month – The Lord Is Gracious

Dear Lovely Reader,

I hope this post finds you happy 😊 Let’s all hope this month will be remembered as JUNE of JUBILATION! Today is a reminder to know the graciousness of God – his tenderness, compassion, gentleness, kindness, mercy, considerateness and goodness.

His graciousness is not the same as humans- where we decide to show grace when we feel like it. His graciousness is His character. It is who He is. What is a standard characteristic of God is an extraordinary character trait to find in humans.

Sometimes, it can be hard to fathom His grace especially as this world’s system deals with us based on merit, influence and worth. However, God supersedes this system and blesses whomever He chooses because He deals with us according to His goodness.

God is gracious to us throughout the day, morning and night

He is gracious in the wait

On that special date you were established as a product of grace

When you rise seek first His face

His presence in prayer, worship and word

You’re His child, His chosen one and when people leave you, you’re still His preferred

Don’t think too hard about what you have to do to be perfect

We are all miracles and fashioned works of His hands in unlimited progress

Receive His grace today

There are always moments of grace to observe in the day

They may not be the most grandiose of things

Take pleasure in the simple because they build up to be overflowing gratitude springs

Then you’ll be overwhelmed beyond measure

Don’t be surprised by it, because you’re His treasure

So go forth and be vivacious

“If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious”- 1 Peter 2:3

The Lord is gracious.
