2020, thank you

December 31 2020, we have made it to day 365/365. To God be the glory.

Throughout this year, I have come to learn and know in my heart deeply more than ever before that God’s word and His nature is unchanging. Through all the uncertainty and affliction, through the darkness…. I always saw the light of God – Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord for the affliction and pain, for you revealed yourself greater to me than ever before. I learnt to not just sing “I trust you and love you” but to actually put every word into practice and mean it from the depths of my heart and soul.

I learnt that since you are faithful and you cannot deny yourself because you are not a man that you should lie (and you never go back on your word), I will be FULL of FAITH to your will.

I learnt the costly saying of – not my will but thine be done.

Thank you for the refining fire – you revealed and moulded in my heart your steadfast love and loyalty. And that godly love really conquers all, because without love everything is meaningless.

…that He (Father of our Lord Jesus Christ) would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love… – Ephesians 3:16-17
